The Art Department provides a modern and stimulating environment, where students with application and an interest in Art can expect to excel. Its facilities include five purpose-built practical art rooms, designed with light and open spaces, as well as an art history room, photographic darkroom, photo studio and senior computer suite. Staff and students also have access to well-resourced art and art history libraries as well as photocopying and printing facilities.

A teaching and support staff of seven is well qualified to teach up-to-date programmes to deliver the full visual arts curriculum.  Subjects available include practical art, art history, art design, photography and painting.
